For April 30

Today the package design mock up and flat images are due.  Please upload your flat image to the ning and if you need to print your mock up let me know.  The Retail projects can be uploaded to the ning for grading as well. you will need a couple of views for the point of sale and then images for the shopping bag and tags.  Final portfolios are due in 2 weeks, here is what is needed.

Okay lets get to it.  We are going to use Daniel's gameration logo in our ad campaign evryone should have their assignments.  We will go over the Ad Campaign Basics at the beginning of class and if you all need to brain storm product line, audience, tag lines and concepts we can do that too. For March 26

For tonight we'll make a final decision about the gameration logo so that we can get a start on the stationery.  We should be looking ahead to getting a student portfolio started and put some of your finished work together.  We will also divvy up the signage for Gameration Corporate offices tonight.  The Ad Campaign needs to be assigned.  There will be a brochure, a direct mail piece, a promotional item, a poster(point of sale or window design), and a magazine spread.  We will need a project lea… Continue

February 19

1. Finish up Jack and Jill design and post to the ning.
2. Finish up the Typography designs and post.
3. Do a wordle word cloud design and translate this design into a hand made drawing 8x10 or larger. You may use markers, colored pencil and paint. You can also work with T-squares, triangles, compass, and curves as needed.
4. Begin poster designs for the principles of page design
5. Start thinking of a topic for a tri fold brochure, the topic could be a hobby of you
